Tim Cook Changed His Twitter Handle to ‘Tim Apple’
The day after being addressed as “Tim Apple” (Time + Apple emoji) by President Trump, during a press conference for the first meeting of the American Workforce Policy Advisory Board, Tim Cook wanted everyone to know that he’s in on the joke.
The mobile mogul took it upon himself to change his name on his official Twitter account after receiving gratitude for Apple’s investments in the U.S.
The official White House transcript of Trump’s remarks was written as “We appreciate it very much, Tim — Apple.” Tim Cook’s new emoji follows a week after Elon Musk, Tesla’s CEO, briefly changed his name to “Elon Tusk,” with an elephant emoji on the side.
